Microneedling

Microneedling is a procedure when your skin is pierced by tiny needles on a special device. This is done in order to encourage the natural healing process of the skin by causing micro-traumas. As a result, your skin produces more of the proteins called collagen (a protein that makes your skin firmer), and elastin (one that makes your skin more elastic). This makes your skin appear firmer, shinier and smoother, and you'll also have less wrinkles and lines.

SKIN MICRO NEEDLING

Skin microneedling at depths of 0.5mm to 2.5mm helps remove dark sports, superficial scarring, fine lines, acne scars, and dark circles in order to give your face a healthy, glowing appearance.

Cost - £150

RF SKIN MICRO NEEDLING

RF Microneedling uses a gold-plated needle device that gently penetrates the skin at radio-frequency depths. The process creates heatwaves which accumulate, positively affecting collagen stimulation.

Cost - £250

MORE ABOUT MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT

Microneedling helps with problems such as acne scars, hyperpigmentation (dark patches), wrinkles, lines, stretch marks, and, according to some sources, hair loss.

The treatment lasts less than half an hour, and you will typically need about 5 treatment sessions to see a tangible result.

The treatment is not painful (anaesthetic cream is used), but it does cause temporary redness of the skin. Deeper microneedling causes side effects like bruises and pain. The effect take some time appear, and you might experience some flaking while your skin is healing.

You should avoid microneedling if you are prone to keloid scars, eczema, psoriasis, or active acne.
